David Tennant

Since I first saw the advert for Casanova way back when it was on BBC3, I think I was smitten with Mr Tennant. It wasn't just his appearence, in that small advert, so much of his personality and acting ability just shone through. Now I just find myself loving every character he plays, even those that used to be so unappealing, such as the Death Eaters, not just because he's played them, but for how he's played them. He seems to have the midas touch, acting wise. Also, I must say, I've always dreamed of seeing him perform Hamlet, and hopefully in 2008, that'll come true. So, needless to say, I've love to run this fanlisting! :D

Alice in Wonderland

rejections: 2
I don't think anything else in my life has had such an effect on me as this one story. My first experience of it came on my forth birthday, when I received the video of Disney's Alice in Wonderland for my birthday. This is the first gift I ever remember receiving, and is one that stands out so clearly in my mind. I think since that day my mind must have been fixed on the story, from dressing as Alice as a little girl, to analysing the novel at university. I still adore everything about the book, and it has firmly placed 'nonsense' as one of my favourite art and speaking genres.

Fruits Basket: Shigure

For some reason, when it comes to Anime/Manga, I always love the perverts, and Shigure is no exception... if anything, it's probably all his fault! I just adore him! He's a complete bastard (laughing at poor tent-bound Tohru XD), his slightly innappropriate obsession with high school girls just leaves me in giggles, yet he also has that slightly menacing calculating side, making you think he's not quite the lighthearted fool he seems to be.

Final Fantasy IX

We all have to have a first Final Fantasy, and this was mine, and since that moment Vivi trotted up to Alexandria castle, I've been in love with it. In my honest opinion, this is the best Final Fantasy game. The storyline has it all, romance, humour, charm, a heart wrenching war that leaves you screaming at the injustice of it all, and of course an evil, yet beautifully poetic villian. This game gets no where near as much respect as it deserves, being overlooked for the more 'old school' VII, or the more graphically beautiful X... but of course Sephiroth < Kuja > Seymour. Fact.

Samurai Champloo

I love this series to tiny little pieces. As cheesy as it sounds, this series can make you laugh, cry, shout, and then laugh again (to break it down, it was probably 85% laughing, 14% angry shouting and 1% near tears XD). The three main characters are also all wonderful in their own special ways, it'd be impossible for me to choose a favourite. Oh, and... a anime AND manga. It makes me extra happy. I just wish there was more ♥
